Description

An extremely good quality French antique escritoire writing cabinet with quarter veneered feather banded tulip wood and king wood banding of serpentine shape still retaining its original white cararra marble top. The cabinet has ormolu mounts and mouldings and has four oak lined drawers with their original working locks and key.

The interior of the cabinet is veneered in birds eye maple wood and has two drawers with a writing surface which is fitted with a tan coloured leather hide with decorative gilt tooling.
