The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 16,707,932 which dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the 14k gold filled Sun model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, main supplier of cases to Waltham UK. The case is in good condition with just minor marking, nothing serious at all. The back of the watch has the ornate initials of a previous owner.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
