Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

French Art Nouveau chandeliers are defined by fluid, organic forms inspired by nature, including creeping vines, leaves, and floral motifs. They frequently combine sculpted metalwork in wrought iron or bronze with frosted, acid-etched, or cameo glass shades.

Artisan lighting from this period typically combines hand-wrought iron, patinated bronze, or brass with moulded or blown art glass shades. The glass is often acid-treated or frosted to create a softened diffusion of light.

Authentic pieces exhibit signs of period craftsmanship, such as hand-hammered iron details, natural surface oxidisation on metal elements, and pressed or etched maker signatures on the glass shades. Original wiring components will also reflect historical construction methods.

An Art Nouveau light fitting functions as a structural focal point in a dining room, entrance hall, or sitting area. Pairing the intricate metalwork and warm glass tones with contemporary minimalist decor highlights the items historical geometry.

Metal components should be dusted with a dry, soft cloth, avoiding abrasive polishes that can strip original patinas. Removable glass shades can be cleaned using warm water and mild liquid soap before drying thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
