A rather impressive Large Antique early 19th Century Gilt & Gesso Pier Mirror c 1840.
The pediment having decorative ribbon and flora flanking the oval centre panel with shell motif.
The frame accompanies with decorative moulding throughout and having it''s original gilding.
As is usual with these mirrors there are a few losses and old repairs to the decoration at the top but this is not really too noticeable and it is all stable.
The mirror retains it''s original plate glass.
Original pine Backing also present.
A really beautiful item with it''s original plate glass with a greyish colour , a good sign of originality.
The item is offered in good antique condition with wear as expected with furniture of this age.
A real statement piece.
