Attractive Japanese Meiji/Taisho (early 20thC) lacquer document box (bunko) with flower cart (hanaguruma-gata hanakago) decoration, the inside decorated in nashiji (pear skin) lacquer. The box rim is silver. Comes in original storage box. Measures 28 x 26.5 x 12cm.
Some repairs but is in good overall condition.
