The pair of bedside tables boast stunning mirror-matched burr walnut timbers on a solid carcass, with reeded and floral carved vertical moudings to the frame. The Art Deco bedside chests feature three working drawers, each constructed with dovetail joints, which retain the original floral shaped copper drawer knobs. The drawers run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The Art Deco bedside chests stand on their original bracket feet. This pair of nightstands boast classic Art Deco styling throughout; this is visible in the rounded corners, clean lines and stepped design. Condition Report:This is a fine quality pair of antique English Art Deco bedside chests, design, constructed from stunning mirror-matched burr walnut, with three drawers, circa 1930, in excellent condition. They are pedestals from an Art Deco dressing table, which have been adapted into bedside chests. The Art Deco bedside tables have been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the finish is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, sides and inside the drawer bottoms, but nothing significant considering the age of them.
