A highly attractive clothes brush filled with natural bristle, nice and clean and in great shape, making it a very usable piece today.

The sterling silver frame is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 making it exactly 100 years old, a true antique example. The makers mark and signature are both present for the highly sought-after Mappin & Webb.

The glossy piece of tortoiseshell set into the top if framed by a decorative silver raised continuous acanthus leaf garland. The shell is inlaid with some of the most attractive silver pique inlay, very elegant and stylish.

Excellent condition measuring 6 1/2" x 1 1/2".
