A late 19th century French 8-day gilt brass and gilt glass 5-pane gong striking carriage clock.

Obie style case with turned knob and bevelled glass panels, white enamel dial with black Roman hours and black steel hands.

Brass movement with two winding squares, time adjustment and original jewelled lever platform with slow/fast adjustment, accessed through the rear opening door.

Height with handle raised - 18cm

Height without handle raised - 13.5 cm.
