Antique Georgian Blue Enamel & Seed Pearl 14ct Gold Cluster Ring - C.1800

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Artisan Antiques

We are delighted to offer this exquisite antique Georgian ring made c.1800.

This ring comes with its period fitted box (included in the listing) and is a wonderful example of fine Georgian jewellery.

The ring features an unmissable and striking deep blue enamel on top, accentuated by a border of seed pearls - a fabulous and majestic design, ideal for lovers of regal and elegant Georgian style.

The rectangular design with soft rounded corners truly makes an elegant and stylistic statement, bound to be a conversation starter and a wonderful way to express your passion for classical design and antiques.

Each part of the ring has been carefully designed, decorated and crafted: the central pearl that contrasts the blue enamel draws your eyes towards the centre whilst the fine wirework ring/shank invites the onlooker to view the ring from many different angles.

Overall, a wonderful statement piece with no area left unembellished nor bland - a fine addition to any collection of antique jewellery lovers, whether be it as a special gift or an indulgent treat for yourself.

The ring is unmarked as is common with gold articles of the period and as such, we have fully tested it for 14ct solid gold (the gold has a slight rose gold-like hue).

Pearls are known to be the birthstone for June.

Size & Total Weight

UK Size: M

US Size: 6 1/4

3.75g /0.120 troy oz

Condition: Good overall antique condition with no major damage or issue. There is one area on the enamel where there is slight surface damage. This area is very shallow and does not go all the way through and thus the blue colour remains and only from certain angles/lighting can you see this issue. From a normal viewing distance, it is very hard to tell.

We aim to overemphasize and state these issues to avoid disappointment and thus please rest assured they are not significant nor affect the usage of the items.
