Richard Anthony Rush Antiques has dated this Georgian Papier Mache Snuff Box to the Georgian era.
With fine gilt & hand painted decoration depicting a dog & hare c. 1780. The exterior is in good condition. The interior rim has slight losses but the lid locates securely.
Richard has worked as a conservator/restorer for over thirty five years with many eminent clients including the department store Peter Jones in Sloane Square, London (part of the John Lewis Partnership) for whom he restored and supplied antique furniture for over eighteen years.
