Inlaid Mahogany Bijouterie Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

An excellent Edwardian period inlaid mahogany bijouterie cabinet. A very rare model in excellent condition. Very well constructed in solid mahogany and embellished with inlaid detailing in satinwood and boxwood. The pagoda shaped top section is surmounted with a pierced brass gallery. The top lifts up to access an interior lined with its original velvet material. Beneath is one glazed door and one solid door. Both open to access shelved interiors, the cabinet once again lined in its original velvet material. All doors are lockable (keys supplied). Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
