Charming original side table.
The table features the most beautiful chequered edge using Purpleheart and Mahogany. The top also has stunning Cross-banded Satinwood, Boxwood and ebony inlays which frames the stunning solid flame Mahogany top. Below the top is a nicely inlaid frieze mimicking the top with stringing continuing through the square tapering legs and onto the shaped lower stretcher shelf. The table has a lovely rich Mahogany colour with its original deep french polished finish. We have just cleaned and waxed this lovely table to give a natural shine and enhance the original french polished finish.
This very rare and petite table is all original, solid with no joint movement and the tops are flat and without twisting.
Please note; Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character. We have left it untouched and as it came in from the previous owner apart from just cleaning and waxing this item.
