Silver Dunlop Golf Ball Hole in One Souvenir Trophy.

1920 - 1940
Description

This handsome Dunlop Golf Hole In One trophy which is made of solid silver is fully hallmarked for 1930, features a pair of crossed golf clubs and sits on it's black base.

This scarce trophy has Dunlop Golf Ball Hole-In-One Souvenir round the top edge and comes complete with a period Dunlop Mesh golf ball.

Hallmark: Lion for sterling silver. Anchor for Birmingham. Date letter F for 1930 and maker's mark E & Co for Elkington.

Dimensions: Diameter of base: 6.5 cm (2 1/2"). Total Height with base and ball: 11 cm (4 1/4").

Weight of just the silver trophy: 22 g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some tiny dings and bruises. The black base has two holes where a plaque can be added. Ball has wear.
