Description

Antique Swiss gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, an English case maker and supplier to various watch makers. The case has a nice coin edge, and engine turned detail to the hinged case back. There is a small “ding” to the edge of the back, and a little unevenness but not too detrimental at all.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with original rose gold coloured hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in an antique presentation box.
