Description

A wonderful Georgian walnut chest of drawers circa 1730 . The chest of drawers consist of two small over three large drawers . All the drawers have wonderful English oak linings with hand cut dovetail joints .The drawer fronts have a good walnut grain with herringbone cross banding ,this is also repeated on the top . The chest stands on wonderful turned bun feet typical on the Queen Anne period . The chest is made in two parts ,this again typical of the period to allow access up narrow twisting stairs cases . Overall a wonderful period chest of drawers with a great antique patina and would grace any home .
