George IV Bijouterie (Display) Table Atb. Gillows

18th century
Description

A rare George IV Rosewood bijouterie table attributed to renowned makers Gillows.  Having a shaped top with a gradrooned moulded edge.  The glass top opens to reveal the original Moire silk interior, complete with original Bramah lock and key.  The whole raised on a turned cluster column base, terminating in finely carved acanthus legs with original inset brass castors.  Wonderful colour and condition throughout.  English, Circa 1825.
