Antique Japanese Mixed Metal Bronze Cockerel Vase Nogawa

A beautiful Japanese Meiji period onlaid bronze vase of tapered form with a copper patination, decorated with a cockerel perched on a prunus branch, using gold, silver and shibuichi in fine detail. This splendid bronze vase is signed Yoshimasa on the reverse with the Nogawa mark on the underside and is in excellent condition standing 7 inches tall.
