A super quality English solid sterling silver swing handled bowl. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1898 with the maker’s marks being that of the Fenton Brothers Ltd. It has superbly designed having a sewing handle and blue glass liner. It is in superb condition being free from splits, engravings, and repairs, tiny marks to the cartouche. No chips or cracks to the liner. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.8cms) tall to the top of the handle by 4.5 inches (11.2cms) across by 3.25 inches (8.3cms) wide and weighs 266 grams with the liner and 100 grams without. A very good quality well made piece.
