French Empire Swan Neck Dressing Table

Description

A Beautiful French Charles X Swan Neck Dressing Table. The oval swan neck mirror above the original Carrara marble table top with drawer below. Supported by attractive scroll legs which are joined by a concave stretcher. The whole standing on petite lions paw feet. Decorative ormolu embellishments complete the look. The piece has a wonderful patina with wear commensurate with age. There are losses to the veneer in places but these are mainly hidden on the backs and sides of the legs. Old repair to a small back corner of the marble. Overall this is an elegant and functional piece of antique furniture.
