Rare 18th Century Old Sheffield Plated Coffee Pot by Richard Morton

Description

A rare first generation Old Sheffield Plated Coffee Pot. Bearing the marks for Richard Morton and dating to c1765. This statuesque piece has a turned wooden handle and an acorn finial. Visible internal seam.

The condition is very good overall with no dents or splits. Slight copper bleed to the decoration of the lid and foot. A small 2cm hairline split to the handle and a slight tilt to the base but otherwise in very good antique condition.
