Beautiful pre raphaelite stain glass window c.1860
This beautiful window depicts a lady or biblical figure in a garden surrounded by pots, flowers and foliage within an arch.
The arch is surrounded with a mixture of flowers and seeds all in the manor of Sir Edward Burne-Jones and could be by him or his associates.
The window was purchased in Wales in the 1960''s/70''s by a French dealer who bought the window out a a building was was being demolished
at the time and has been in his possession until his passing last year, I bought the window recently from his son who was selling a part of his fathers
collection off.
The window has a lovely size (48 x 77 cm) and it is fit for any interior modern or classic.
The window has been framed and light-up in the 1980''s and measures in total of (55 x 84 x 16 cm)
