This handsome antique lion which dates from the late 19th century is made of pure bronze, has very nice detail and is a well made piece.

This high quality bronze lion has been later mounted on an Oak shield inlaid with a purple velvet background to make a highly decorative display piece.

Date: Lion is Late 19th century. Later shield.

Dimensions: Width: 36.5 cm (14 1/4"). Height: 39 cm (15 1/2") approx.

Weight: 1558 g.

Condition: Excellent condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some rubbing and general wear.
