Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Flight, Barr and Barr operated the Worcester porcelain manufactory between 1813 and 1840 during the Regency period. The partnership was renowned for producing high-grade porcelain featuring elaborate gilding, detailed topographical land and seascapes, and classical shapes inspired by Greco-Roman pottery.

These vases were manufactured using fine soft-paste or hybrid hard-paste porcelain fired at high temperatures. Decorators applied enamel pigments by hand for scenic panels and used mercury gilding for rich burnished gold details, often adding raised bead moulding to imitate pearls.

Authentic pieces from this manufactory typically feature impressed marks such as FBB beneath a crown, or full script marks printed or hand-painted on the underside. Additionally, the exceptionally crisp quality of the gilded claw feet and the refined miniature painting serve as indicators of period manufacture.

A pair of Regency porcelain vases can be placed symmetrically on a fireplace mantelpiece, console table, or framed within a booklined shelf. Their gilded accents and classic proportions complement both traditional schemes and contemporary minimalist settings requiring rich accent details.

Clean antique porcelain by gentle dusting with a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a soft camel-hair brush. Avoid using abrasive chemical cleaners, water immersion, or commercial polish, as these methods can degrade mercury gilding and over-glaze enamel painting.
