A stunning original Wellington chest of drawers.
This Wellington chest features lockable drawers via the hinged right hand side and is perfectly working with its original lock and key. The chest of drawers also has its stunning carved corbels either side. This chest is in an outstanding condition featuring its original beautiful lightly faded french polished finish with a lovely rich Mahogany colour. The chest also features dovetailed drawer construction and 2 original turned Mahogany knobs per drawer. The drawers are in good condition, smoothly operating with little to no drawer wear and are very clean inside. We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this chest, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
