This 3.45 carat unheated Sri Lankan sapphire displays a floral purplish-pink body colour, and takes centre stage within this lavish early 20th century saddle-shaped mount, millegrain-set with nearly 3 carats of antique circular-cut diamonds. This is an incredible demonstration of French craftsmanship of the period. It’s a huge statement piece and looks amazing on the hand. Accompanied by GCS report no. 79221-88, stating that the sapphire weighing 3.45 carats is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indications of heat treatment.
