A beautifully detailed green stone claw pendant believed to be 19th century New Zealand jade (also known as pounamu or greenstone) set in solid silver. The jade is a beautiful dark green colour with a slightly translucent quality and natural flecks and colour variations visible when held up to the light.

The cap is marked 925 (sterling silver) with an L and possibly other indistinct letters.

In excellent antique condition.

Size: The cap is 1.2cm across, the pendant is approximately 2.8cm long.

Weight: 3.3g.
