Aesthetic Movement Decorated Full Length Wall Mirror

Description

This AESTHETIC MOVEMENT FULL LENGTH WALL MIRROR dates from circa 1880. Set within an OAK frame and with its original PINE panelled back, the mirrored glass is painted with RIVERSIDE images including a HERON, standing on one leg beside bulrushes, two SWALLOWS overhead and WATERLILIES and YELLOW IRISES beneath. A very attractive and skilfully painted scene.

The back is fitted with three glass plates for fixing to a wall.

Original throughout.
