In pen, ink and watercolour heightened with white, this painting by the renowned naval artist, William Frederick Mitchell and is of HMS Victory at anchor in Portsmouth harbour before the First World War. The picture is numbered 3132 making it one of the last Mitchell painted in his life - a number of his works can be seen at The National Maritime Museum at Greenwich.
