A charming 19th century French silver scent bottle of tubular form with scrolling Rococo decoration around the body it has a hinged cover which is internally gilded and a clear glass internal stopper. This beautiful scent bottle has an articulated bale under the hinge for hanging from a chatelaine and is stamped with French touch marks, apart from a chip at the bottom of the glass stopper it is in excellent condition measuring 2 ¼ inches in length.
