An antique George III sterling silver quart sized tankard which has a plain baluster shaped body with applied girdle, a domed shaped hinged lid with a ''chair back'' thumb piece, a scroll handle with a heart shape terminal and resting on a circular foot. This fine silver tankard has been well cared for over the years and remains in excellent condition. It would hold two pints of beer.

Diameter of base: 11.3 cms (4.4'')
Weight: 28.5 troy ounces (887 grams)
It was hallmarked in London for 1763 by William & John Deane.
