Antique Chinese Black Cloisonne Vase 19th Century

Description

Beautiful black cloisonnee vase with hand hammered body and vertical seem. The bottom is also hammered. This is typical for the early 19th century pieces. After 1925 the bodies were made in one piece and of forced sheet metal.

Extremely fine cloisonné featuring elegant floral motifs on a foliate spiral ground and framed by traditional bands of ruyi heads and plantain leaves.

Height 10.5 cm

Diameter 6,3 cm

Condition is very good - no visible defects.
