Gorgeous amethyst & seed pearl necklace

This hand crafted Edwardian necklace is so pretty.

Set to the centre with a wonderful purple mauve amethyst within a border of beautiful little seed pearls.

It is surrounded by a foliate openwork detail set with further pearls. Suspended below is a pear cut amethyst.

The design hangs from a split chain gathered by a round amethyst with integral chain fastening with a spring ring clasp

This charming pendant looks stunning when worn

The pendant is 2 3/4" ( 7cm) long from top round amethyst to bottom tear drop

It is 1 1/4" ( 3cm) wide

Chain 40cm (16")

Amethysts 7mm x 5mm,7.5mm x 4.8mm and 5.2mm

It is marked 9ct gold on the reverse

It weighs 5.7 grams

It dates to around 1900

It is in excellent condition.

It comes in the presentation box illustrated.
