A good quality freestanding 19th Century solid mahogany 3 part pedestal desk of the more popular round cornered design. The thumb moulded edged top having a replaced superb quality hand dyed brown leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The 9 graduated drawers all having moulded edges and brass ring pull handles, brass escutcheons and working locks with keys. The reverse and sides again in polished solid mahogany allowing the desk to be freestanding. The whole stands on offset round cornered plinths with hidden castors below.
