Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

The liqueur glasses are etched with a thistle design to flaring bowls that rest on slice cut stems above low conical radial undercut feet. The bulbous bases of the bowls are faceted to resemble a thistle bract, while the fluted middles resembles an unopened flower.

The stand has a fluted openwork handle with ball decoration and is engraved with an ornate flowering thistle design; the stand rests on four cast thistle feet.

Very good antique condition. Wear to silvering on the stand; stopper has repairs to neck, large sideways chip to top and small chip to base; fleabites to base of decanter.
