The double C scroll handle is made of walnut that has lovely warm patina and beautiful grain.

The coffeepot has two asymmetric cartouches that are enclosed in floral rocaille borders; one cartouches is initialled "M", the other is vacant.
Hallmarked for London, 1767.

Excellent antique condition. Shallow indent underneath the initial; shallow depression to the right and underneath the spout; shallow depression underneath and to the left of the vacant cartouche; small dings to the very base the baluster body; small split to the top of the spout; tiny hole to the finial.
