Full hallmark London hallmark with the date letter for 1883 and the makers mark for Frederick Elkington ( Elkington & Co) of New Hall Street.
Conical shaped body with turned top rim and base with a scrollwork handle.
Decorated with ringed decoration.
Due to the shape it''s impossible to photograph without reflections, my apologies.
Stands 4 5/8 inches 11.7 cm tall, 3 5/16 inches 8.5 cm in diameter at the top rim, 3 5/8 inches 9.2 cm in diameter at the top rim and 5 1/8 inches 13 cm handle to rim.
The silver weight is 382 grams so a really heavy example.
Excellent condition, no damage or repairs. The interior is also excellent.
Apologies for any reflections in the pictures, these are not marks in the silver.
No engraving to any part of the mug.
Will be delivered in a tissue lined gift box.
