Super quality Victorian Elkington hallmarked solid silver one pint tankard, christening mug gift.Holds a full pint.Full hallmark London hallmark with the date letter for 1883 and the makers mark for Frederick Elkington ( Elkington & Co) of New Hall Street.Conical shaped body with turned top rim and base with a scrollwork handle.Decorated with ringed decoration. Due to the shape it''s impossible to photograph without reflections, my apologies.Stands 4 5/8 inches 11.7 cm tall, 3 5/16 inches 8.5 cm in diameter at the top rim, 3 5/8 inches 9.2 cm in diameter at the top rim and 5 1/8 inches 13 cm handle to rim.The silver weight is 382 grams so a really heavy example.Excellent condition, no damage or repairs.
