Description

An unusual looking south west persian weaving with a beautiful dark salmon red ground colour with geometric,floral and other tribal motifs,i particularly like the long spikey poles just inside the field to each side.

Has been hand washed,last two images,over 30 images to look at including rug in different settings.

All over low pile with light subtle wear mostly to each end. Outer guard stripe loss to each end but with fringes and even.

A great looking antique rug with the 'look" for little money.

Size is 6 foot 6 inches by 5 foot 4 inches. 198cm X 162cm. At widest points. Fringes not measured in size. Lustrous wool pile hand knotted onto cotton and wool foundations.

Weighs 7.9kg. U.k post £20.
