Description

This stunning silver & green guilloche enamel hand mirror bears the marks of the renowned Mappin & webb and is dated London 1947. It has an elegant oval form . The mint green enamel back with exquisite sunburst patterns. The front fitted with the original bevelled mirror.

Hallmarks:

Mn&Wb for Mappin & Webb.

London Assay Mark.

Date letter "M" for 1947.

Lion Passant.

London Assay Mark.

Condition:

Very good.

The bevelled glass is in great shape with minor spots.

The enamel back is in excellent condition.

The silver handle in equally good condition.

Dimensions:

Length: 26.5 cm / 10.2 inches.

Maximum Width: 9.5cm / 3.6 inches.

Mirror: 12.5cm x 8.5cm / 5 x 3.2 inches.
