Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

Despite the small surface area to work on, the level of detail is very impressive and intricate and done to the finest standards of the late Georgian/early Victorian period - a true testament to the craftsmanship and skill of the artisans, unparalleled by contemporary pieces.

The central oval faceted citrine is of an enchanting honey-like golden hue which changes colour depending on the lighting and angle. The overall gold tone matches the border and exuberates an opulent aura upon wearing.

A wonderful piece of fine Victorian jewellery whether it be a special gift or for a personal collection, this pendant would make for a perfect addition for the antique jewellery lover. Citrine is known to be the birthstone for November.

The pendant is unmarked as is common with articles of this period and as such we have tested it fully with results indicating 9ct solid gold.
Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed thinner complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box. The antique and heavier belcher chain is for display purposes only.

All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
