Regency brass inlaid chiffonier

This Regency brass inlaid chiffonier was made circa 1820, the cabinetmaker chose rosewood that was an expensive and very exotic timber that could only be afforded by the wealthy.

Brass inlaid furniture first came into fashion during the reign of the Prince Regent. His Palace at the Brighton Pavilion have many examples of brass inlaid furniture.

This chiffonier has a pair of drawers and the cupboards below open to reveal shelves. It offers fantastic storage options.

The doors with the soft blush pink silk door panels.

To each side of the doors is a column that has the cut brass inlay, the drawer fronts also.

The storage and impressive design will make this a fantastic addition to your home.
