There is a stipple engraved border and attractive acanthus engraving, elevating the decoration further. The box is finished with thumb grips to the front to aid with opening. A fabulous piece, both decorative and useable. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. The enamel is in perfect condition and the lid closes well and the clasp tight. Minor wear to the exterior gilding, commensurate with age and use.
