Description

Incredibly attractive and unique forged iron Portuguese king size bedstead. Light and airy look yet strong sturdy construction. A rare formation in the head end in the form of an almost geometric style. Complimented by a beautiful hand painted finish using Little Greene’s Middle Buff and Livid, with a lightly applied dark wax to preserve. Well-fitting corner joints. The frame has been shot blasted and rimed prior to hand paint finish.

Sympathetically restored with rails extended to suit modern king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 153cm x 200cm.
