Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
An elegant period dressing mirror.
Standing on fine quality bracket feet, this mirror has all of the original brass finials and working brass finger screws to hold the mirror at tilt. This typically simple but elegant mirror has an Ebony band inlay to the outside of the cross-banded Mahogany mirror frame. This mirror has obviously been very well looked after and cherished all of its life as the condition shows. The mirror has a lovely original lightly faded colour and original French polished finish with patina.

We have sympathetically restored this mirror by carefully cleaning and waxing the original finish to preserve this item for many years to come and to give a lustrous shine the polish.
The mirror glass is likely the original and is in great condition showing no foxing or pitting marks to the silvering.

Please note: this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item.
