Description

A stunning antique George IV silver hunting snuff box. Made in Birmingham in 1829 by Thomas Shaw. It is in excellent condition with very little wear to the high points and the top closes tightly. There are a full set of hallmarks on the inside and part marks in the lid. The box is fully gilded on the inside and has a period inscription in the lid. A beautiful box from a very high quality Birmingham maker.
