Antique 19th Century Mahogany Pedestal Desk

An impressive antique 19th century pedestal writing desk. The writing desk has a rectangular moulded top, inset with a gilt lined green leather writing surface. The writing desk has an arrangement of nine drawers around the central kneehole, each with wooden knobs. Splits into three parts for ease of transport and movement. Raised on a plinth base with castors.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the surface top (pictured) and sides. The mahogany pedestal desk drawers are running smoothly. A lovely example of an antique 19th century mahogany pedestal desk.
