Unusual Antique Georgian Oak Chest
This Unusual Country House 18th century continental, Antique Georgian Oak Chest / Buffet dates from ca. 1800. It has an inverted break-fronted moulded top above a detailed carved frieze and two geometric moulded drawers with decorative brass pear drop handles. This quality Georgian chest has two cupboard doors and stands on shaped bracket feet. It comes with wonderful, genuine charm, character and has aged to a warm Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
