A wonderful true pair of Japanese Meiji period cloisonne enamel vases of bulbous form with a yellow ground, and goldstone roundels with butterflies, flowers and a phoenix in flight on each. These beautiful vases are finished with matching decorative borders top and bottom and apart from minor typical pitting both are in excellent condition with no damage or restoration standing 4 inches tall.
