Lovely old octagonal folding table rosewood profusely carved with fruiting vines and berries.
The table is a ''campaign'' table designed to be able to be folded up for easy transportation to war - whether or not this little table ever saw active service is unknown, but it certainly is a lovely little piece of beautiful hand crafted furniture.
The base and the top separate into two different sections for ease of transportation. The legs open out on hinges into an eight sided base - all richly carved with vines and fretwork, whilst the octagonal top has a central pot bearing a fruiting vine.
The table is sturdy and strong measuring cm tall and cm wide and is in good used condition, commensurate with its age and displays a rich warm patina.
