Duo of Upholstered Armchairs

A charming duo of upholstered armchairs. The left chair is an antique George III Mahogany Armchair. The mahogany armchair decorative splat back and shaped open arms. The mahogany armchair has a drop in deep blue velvet upholstered seat. Raised on square legs with a ‘H’ stretcher support.

The right chair is a lovely example of a walnut elbow chair. The elbow chair has a pierced carved splat-back, with upstanding arm supports, with curving arm rests. The drop-in seat has been reupholstered, covered in a high quality fabric, with a traditional horsehair filled seat. The elbow chair is standing on square chamfered legs, united by stretchers

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and fading to both chairs on the arms and back. There have been historical black smith repair to the underside of the seat of the walnut elbow chair. Both chairs remain structurally solid and sound. A wonderful example of a duo of upholstered chairs.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
