A very impressive, decorative and large pair of early Victorian silver and wooden based wine coasters or bottle slides, so called as they can be slid across the furniture. They are a large size and will easily seat a large bottle of wine or a decanter.
Both have a superbly engraved and contemporary cypher to the front.
Both are fully hallmarked sterling Silver, 1859 Sheffield.
Makers mark of Henry Wilkinson & Co to both.
They are both in an excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
Felt Lined bases to protect the furniture.
Some very minor surface wear that is noticeable on a close inspection.
The wooden bases are tight, secure and in good order.

It will seat a decanter or bottle with a diameter of up to 12cm.
